Recieved 1st pair and within a very short time the strap covering the laces started to rip on one shoe. Called SCOREBOARD SPORTS Customer Service and they sent me another new pai[...] both of the NEW shoes had the same problem. [...] the shoes are junk[...] We see John Smith quite frequently because our sons wrestle in the same region. I was tempted to show him what kind of product he is endorsing. I don't think he would be to happy about the quality.

If i were you i would invest in these shoes. they were a great buy on my part. i have had them for a while and they still look brand new. they dont rip or lose any traction after a long period of use.

I bought a pair here last year[...] I would say if you had a Christmas gift in mind, and were given [$] for choosing a pair, probably go with these. You might avoid them if you require a wide shoe. If you want adidas but don't want to pay the higher end $140 for an average size width adidas, the Mat Wizard 3 are perfect. If you are not sure about going over $90, Scoreboard has the adidas Vaporspeed 2 and Response 2 at prices a bit lower than the Mat Wizard 3. The Response 2 has some nice colors. I liked the Copper/Black/Silver color in the Mat Wizard 3, that is why I picked them. I'd say if you are looking for a [$]pair of shoes that are a newer model, these might be a good pick if adidas is your brand, especially if one of the colors in Mat Wizard 3 go well with your school's singlet color.

great shoes! i have the old school john smiths and those are my favorites but these are a really great shoe love to practice in these, and they are a very fresh look for adidas and for wrestlers who wear them.

Equipment matters on the mat. I like the gripping of these shoes. I also like the way they look and fit. I could wrestle in my socks but why should I?
