I wear these as a weight training shoe and as an everyday athletic shoe working on a tile gym floor. True to the description, these shoes are sturdy and offer a comfortable toe box that gives your toes some wiggle room. Love the look, the feel, and the style. Simple.
The only potential negative is the few seconds of extra time required to adjust the laces with the velcro flaps. The velcro flaps can be a small annoyance. These shoes remind me of my favorite old Nike Air Reversal Cross Training wrestling shoes I had a long time ago. A good-looking wrestling shoe and all-around training shoe that gives basic traction, protection, and comfort.
