This is a good shoe. It looks great, it feels great but I am an agressive wrestler and the lining on the inside of the shoe is already tearing in two weeks of the purchase. I originaly wanted to get the Rulon but everyone is out of stock in my size. The Asics Agressor is supposed to be the next generation of the Asics Rulon, and don't let anyone fool you about the Addidas Cejudo shoe. Henry Cejudo wore Asics Rulon's before he won the Gold Medal in 2008. My next shoe will be the Asics Agressor.

i wrestle varsity at my highschool, i bought the cael v2's over 2 years ago and they finally tore so i just decided to get the new version. i do not like the new caels as much as the old but they are still very good.

My son wrestles for a feeder program and middle school. Loves the shoe and they came in school colors...bonus. Would highly recommend. Shipping was fast.

I like the colors as well as the traction and how lightweight they are.
Depending on the color, they get dirty pretty fast.

I was disappointed with the quality. These Caels had a plastic and hard feel/look to them. The only good thing I can say is the sole was nice and flexible. It seem if you are serious anything under the $125 range is going to be junk. Believe or not the basic Matflex 2/3 is about the best shoes under $100.
My vintage gables from college are still superior to these but don't expect to get more than a year out of any wrestling shoe if you the serious athelete.

This is my very first pair of wrestling shoes so I can't really compare these to any previous shoes but I would definately recommend these to anyone looking for wrestling shoes. They are very comfortable, flexible and the traction is excellent.

After buying one pair for my grankid awhile back the younger kid needed a pair of wrestling shoes. After wearing asics ultra the older one said that these shoes Cael V4 wear a good shoe and price wise alot cheaper. So when the younger one needed a pair I got these for him which he said fit perfect and Im sure down the road he'll need some more shoe's and Scoreboard has the best deals on them and other shoes.
