This is the third pair of Trs I bought from Scoreboard Wrestling.I have had the 150s,160s,and now the 170s. You just can't believe what great shoes they are.I do high speed picking and walk twelve miles per night.I have tried other shoes and none will do what the Trs do.What is in these shoes anyway? I bought a pair of Asic Cumulus which is a popular comfortable shoe and the TR170's were better.

I have used each of past models of this shoe beginning with the Asics Gel TR 130 in 2007. I have always used it as a court shoe (tennis) and as a cross trainer during workouts. It easily accommodates orthotic inserts.It also provides excellent support and impact control at the midsole for folks who tend to over pronate. It has a "post" on the outside of the shoe at that location. Asics calls it the Duromax system. Wear time is usually four to six months during which I play tennis 2-4 times per week and 2-4 workouts. I do not use the shoe as a running shoe. An Asics running training shoe like the Gel Turbulence is more suitable. When they are no longer providing the necessary support for court use they become an excellent casual shoe for low to moderate walking distances and wearing around the house. I finally gave up on the first pair of Tr 130 about a month ago (four years after purchase).

I walk every day. I switch shoes. I wish I did not have to replace the shoes every 6 months.
