Starting off on this product, when I saw the price for it I immediately called scoreboardwrestling (which was a LONG time ago) and asked them if these were sold individually, and I was told that they were. So I just believed that they were priced so high due to it's great quality. I had decided to purchase two orders of these kneepads. You can't find a better price anywhere else. Other sites have these kneepads up for the retail price.

When my order came in, I opened the package right away along with other things that I ordered from scoreboardwrestling. I opened the kneepad package and discovered that there were two kneepads in one package. I checked the other kneepad package to see if I got lucky, and I did!

I doubt that I'd be able to return it now, but if I could I would order one size smaller because I normally wear XL Kneepads, but these kneepads slips a little during practice. I was possibly thinking about getting some kind of knee sleeve that would go under my kneepads to provide extra protection due to my history of shattered knees whenever I take shots.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the order, and I plan on using my 2nd set of kneepads for when I need to wash my 1st set and then I could just end up using my 2nd set fresh for the next time I'm on the mat practicing.

First off, the web site said "sold individually" but they come in pairs. So I accidentally purchased two pairs.

But I don't regret it. I train in mixed martial arts at Warrior's Cove in St. Paul, and these have been a Godsend. I developed minor bursitis from grappling and am still recovering from another knee injury from broomball, and the product let me jump back into training and stay there. They keep my knees warm, they hardly slip, and they have prevented me from further bruising.

The Asics Gel Lycra knee pads can be slightly painful to wear. It may be my existing injuries, but the gel is so firm that it provides small points of pressure on my knees. I only notice this while doing reps, however; I have not been distracted in the least while actually grappling.

The knee pads are also good for sparring as they don't hinder mobility much. You wouldn't want to do a 5k in them, but they are specialized. They also fit differently from the MacGregor knee pads I owned previously. They sit a little lower and are loose at the top. Once you get used to this, you wear them appropriately lower and they don't slip.

So far they have not endured much wear and have not retained any odor. I am happy I purchased two by accident because I would be glad to purchase these again, provided they last at least a year. And they should.

I work on my knees about 5 hours a day and I have been using these kneepads for about 6 years they they are the lightest weight kneepads that have the protection I need I wish they made just spandex ones but then the would not be good for wrestling and other sports so. But if for some reason you are looking to buy these for parachute rigging do it, they also work very well for wind tunnels but again probably not helpful for people ordering here

These are simply the best knee pads. Period. Be very caerful though to get the right size from the size chart. Don't "cheat it" small or big if you think you need to for some reason. Take a tailor's tape measure and order the exact size.

Other than that PERFECT kneepads at HALF the price of other stores.

Owned it since 2006, when I started BJJ. There other Knee Pads out there that offer more protection, but this is the only one that can fit comfortably under BJJ pants.

I really like this product as it offers good protection with less bulk when compared to other knee pads. I also have to keep on adjusting it less often then previous knee pads I tried during BJJ practices. Only complaint I would have is that the it stays a little too loose at the bottom by the rubber. But that's the problem with pads/supports that have no straps for adjustments: they can fit every type of body perfectly even if you get the right size. I have used it about 6-8 times since purchasing. No significant signs of wear and tear

These kneepads are a great! I highly recommend buying them over any other less-expensive pads out there--the investment is well worth it. The only con about them is that such a luxurious pair of kneepads as these won't make you any tougher, but they will accommodate the needs of protection and comfort for hours of training. The other nice thing about them is they keep your knees warm which is always good for use in colder conditions. Warm knees are happy knees!

Provides support to the knee joint and the gel padding is great when kneeling or when your knee hits the mat when you're driving through that shoot to finish.

I couldn't believe they were so comfortable. I put them on and they weren't big or anything and they looked like they were a good fit, too.

I ordered large because I measured my knee and it was just past medium according the size charts so I ordered large but I was a little afraid they would be too big but they were indeed perfect I was afraid because I am 5 foot 6 and I weigh 150 lbs but I must've have thick legs.

If I kneel on hard ground it doesn't bother me at all and the pads just don't slip ever.

Overall, an awesome product.
