They also feature Asics GEL Cushioning Compound found in the forefoot and rearfoot to help provide superior cushioning. Asics GEL Cushioning helps attenuate and absorb shock during the impact and toe-off phases, and allows for movement in multiple planes.
The Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 Running Shoes also feature a unique Guidance Line technology that consists of a vertical flex groove that decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency. The GEL-Nimbus line is ideal for runners with high to normal arches, as well as underpronator, neutral and mild overpronator gait types. The included Space Trusstic System features a midfoot stabilizer that creates a pocket between the Trusstic system and the midsole, allowing for controlled midsole deformation and more efficient foot function. The Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 also features a unique asymmetrical lacing design that helps reduce irritation, as well as a Biomorphic Fit upper consisting of a stretch material that helps to reduce buckling and the potential for irritation. Discrete Eyelets allow for less lace-tension and improved comfort.
The outsole of the Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 provides serious durability and stability with Asics High Abrasion Rubber compound located on the outsole. On the inside, the GEL-Nimbus 12 features a ComforDry Sockliner for enhanced cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties to create a cooler, drier, healthier environment for the foot. The DuraSponge Outsole also offers enhanced durability and cushioning in the forefoot. Asics Personal Heel Fit technology features 2 layers of memory foam in the collar area that mold to the athlete's foot, creating an incredibly customized and comfortable fit in the heel area. A Solyte Sole also provides superior cushioning and stability. The Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 also features reflective material on the outside of the shoe to provide for increased visibility in low-light conditions.
