I ordered these for my son, who is a high school wrestler. It was going to be his second pair of Quick Strike knee pads. He loved the ones he had because they had an open back. That is the material had a large circle cut out at the back of the knee. It made the pad more comfortable.

We were disappointed to find that these newer Quick Strike pads did not have an open back, so his mother had to pull customize them with the Singer.

They are still very good pads.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
