Bought this for my son for wrestling. I have tried other brands/styles previously that didn't stay on as well (especially when sweaty) or else completely ripped apart. YES, there certainly are less expensive models, but this one is undoubtedly the BEST!

Bought the headgear for 12 year old son who has tried just about everything else while wrestling. This is the only headgear he has used that does not slip down onto the face/eyes during matches. You don't have to tape it up or do anything other than adjust it, which is easy to do. My son loves it and says it is very comfortable.

One of the best headgears on the market. Rarely if ever slips off in competition. One of my 3 favorties of all time. I'm a wrestling official registered in 2 states. I see a lot of matches each year.

Last year I wouldn't use my headgear because I couldn't hear with it on. This headgear is great. It's really comfortable but most of all I can hear with it on.

The Cliff Keen Twister is the best headgear we have used, and we have used many other types from Brute, Asic, etc. It is adjustable to fit a variety of head sizes so you don't need to have a youth specific model. This is one that will grow with his head size. The headgear is comfortable and fits my 65 pound ten year old's head very well. It is the only headgear we have used that positively stays put in a live match. I see lots of other kids either having to re-adjust their headgear or pull the top strap from in front of their face during a match. This is never a problem with the Twister....it just stays put. Excellent product.
