I bought this for my son who wrestles for high school. He's 180lbs. & we measured his knee for fit. It is a snug fit so if you are close to next size order upto next size. He was1/2inch smaller than XL but it fit perfect-looks & feels good. Thick at the knee but is breaking in good the more he wears it. Vented behind knee to prevent chafing & excessive sweating as other kneepads sometimes do.

These were for my son. We tried different brands but almost all of them were too big. He weighs 55 lbs. These seemed right on the edge of being too big, but if he puts them on and gets warmed up, these knee pads stay in place with just a little bit of sweat. They offer much more protection than the Asics sleeve kneepad, which was the only brand before this one that we found would fit him. Highly recommended.
