The Matman #SO28 Scrapper Youth Wrestling Shoes are perfect fit for kids beginning to wrestle. This mesh upper shoe helps to relieve excess moisture from the shoe caused by strenuous physical activity. It features a two Velcro strap system, making this wrestling shoe easy to put on and take off. Its outsole contains an excellent gum rubber to ensure excellent traction and durability. These shoes also feature a wider fit than other wrestling shoes.

      These shoes were below average in comfort, so much so we returned them. The velcro was a good idea, but the quality of the shoe was not comparable to lace ups.

      The shoe may be OK for beginners who don't wish to spend a lot of money or perhaps take too long lacing up their wrestling shoes for their rushed parent's likeing...

      Ended up buying Aesics Cael youth shoes instead and they have been fantastic. You get what you pay for.

                      My kid has been wrestling for 4 years and only wants this style. It is easy on/off and no fuss with shoes laces. Performance is only with the kids ability, other more advance shoes will not help unless they are high end HS or College wrestlers.
